Dassault says the Falcon 6X has the tallest and widest cabin of any purpose-built business jet: 6 ft 6 in of headroom and 8 ft 6 in across. That is the number Gulf families notice first, because it is what separates the 6X from a Gulfstream or a Global of similar range when a family travels with children and staff.
It is also a twin. The Falcon 7X and Falcon 8X carry three engines; the 6X runs on two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW812Ds. EASA and the FAA certified it on 22 August 2023, and it entered service on 30 November 2023, so the oldest examples are under three years old.

Falcon 6X missions from the Gulf
The 6X is sized for Europe, Asia and Africa rather than the Americas. Every Gulf capital reaches London, Geneva or Paris with a large reserve, and Tokyo sits inside the book figure from Riyadh, Doha or Muscat. Dassault's 5,100 nm figure at Mach 0.85 matters here: most of these legs can be flown at the faster cruise without giving anything up.

Falcon 6X price in 2026
New-aircraft figures cluster between $52,750,000, Business Jet Traveler's estimated equipped price, and about $57,000,000, the MSRP one broker guide quotes. Wikipedia records a 2023 unit cost of $53,800,000, and a few guides still cite about $47,000,000, which we read as an older or base figure. Buying new means a factory slot, full warranty from delivery and a cabin specified to your taste. Buying one of the few early examples means an aircraft flying now, with the warranty already running and a first owner's interior. Resale supply is thin, and asking prices close to new are normal while the backlog holds.
Running costs are estimated by Flycraft at $4,894 per flight hour variable plus about $848,000 a year fixed, on a 200-hour example. Treat that as a planning figure and ask an operator for a Gulf-based estimate. A twin also means two engine overhaul events to budget across the airframe's life, not three as on the 7X or 8X.

Each state runs its own register: HZ- through GACA in Saudi Arabia, A7- through the QCAA in Qatar, A4O- through PACA in Oman and A9C- through Civil Aviation Affairs in Bahrain. Many private owners pick an offshore mark instead, typically Isle of Man, Cayman, Aruba or San Marino, when a lender or a later buyer outside the region is part of the plan.
VAT is where the four diverge. On a $55,000,000 aircraft, Saudi Arabia's 15% import VAT on the landed value comes to roughly $8,250,000. Bahrain charges 10% and Oman 5%, with Oman's effective rate nearer 5.25% if duty applies. Qatar had still not introduced VAT by September 2026. The GCC tariff is 5%, though civil aircraft are generally treated as exempt; confirm the HS heading for your import before you budget.
